Job Description:  Florist/Store Manager

As a Florist/Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Floral Design:

• Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, corporate events, and everyday bouquets.

• Stay current with floral design trends and techniques to ensure our offerings are modern and innovative.

• Maintain a high level of creativity and artistry in all floral designs.

• Work with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized service and recommendations.

Store Management:

• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

• Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking flowers, supplies, and other merchandise.

• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

• Train, supervise, and motivate store staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards.

• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.

• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality and service.

• Manage and update our website and Instagram regularly.

• Attend market to purchase flowers and plants every Tuesday and Thursday.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients.

• Assist customers in selecting the perfect floral arrangements for their needs.

• Manage online orders and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a florist, with a strong portfolio of work.

• Previous experience in retail management, preferably in a floral or related industry.

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of flower care and handling techniques.

Education and Training:

• Certificate 3 in floristry

• Additional training in business management or retail operations is an advantage.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with weekend and holiday work when required.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy flowers, plants, and supplies.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Job Description : Florist Assistant/ Junior Florist

This position is ideal for entering floristry, or if you are a florist student doing Certificate 3, or have not been in the industry for long

Full time position Tuesday to Saturday (PLEASE NOTE: Tuesday and Thursday is a 5.30am start)

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Floral Design:

• Work with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized service and recommendations.
• Assist and create beautiful floral arrangements.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service skills, in store, on the online and online.
• Assist Customers in selecting the perfect floral arrangements for their needs.

In this Role you'll:

• Manage online orders and ensure timely delivery
• Responsible for purchasing and collecting flowers and plants from the Flower Market in Epping every Tuesday and Thursday Morning. (PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A 5:30AM START)
• Complete daily flower deliveries to various locations.
• Open and close the store, ensuring all security, cleanliness, and operational protocols are followed.

Education & Training:

• Completed Certificate 3 in Floristry or Completing Certificate 3.
• Additional training on site.

*MUST HAVE A CURRENT DRIVERS LICENSE*
